My Practice
Over time, my practice has evolved primarily into adult medicine and geriatrics. About 75% of my patients are Medicare patients. I see very few children and I do not see babies.
My goal as a Christian physician is to help patients who have chronic conditions manage their disease process so that they control the disease rather than it controlling them. We want to reduce the chance of consequences like heart attack, kidney failure, etc. These diseases include, but are not limited to:
- Diabetes
- Hypertension
- Heart disease
- COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), such as emphysema
- Prostate and colon problems
When needed, I get the correct referrals for my patients, such as cardiologists or surgeons. I do not do much outpatient surgery anymore.
