Dr. Kyle Citty joined the staff at Searcy Medical Center on August 1, 2007. Dr. Citty has just completed his residency at Scott and White Memorial Hospital through Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine. He is a graduate of Harding University, the son of Dr. Jim Citty and the brother of Dr. Kris Citty, both of Searcy Medical Center. See the Obstetrics/Gynecology department page for more information. Vein Institute of Searcy Medical CenterDr. Donald Patrick has opened the Vein Institute of Searcy Medical Center. The Institute performs various procedures for patients suffering from superficial venous reflux disease (leg pain and vericose veins). For more information see the Vein Institute page. Patients will be accepted by physician referral or they can make an appointment directly by calling 501-278-3065. Neurosurgery Coming to Searcy Medical CenterDr. Jason E. Tullis will be taking patients at Searcy Medical Center beginning March 22nd. He will be at our main facility on Thursday afternoons from 2:00 until 4:00p.m, by physician referral only. Dr. Tullis performs adult general neurosurgery including cranial and spine surgery as well as ulnar nerve surgeries. He recently finished his residency (June 2006) at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Smoking Cessation ClassDr. Marty Thomas, one of our pediatricians, is offering FREE one-on-one counseling for Searcy Medical Center patients or relatives of patients who wish to quit smoking. The counseling is provided on Tuesdays - please call 207-5801 for an appointment. If you have Medicaid we can write a prescription for patches or whatever other intervention is needed.
