New Family Practice Doctors
Dr. Eugene Joseph and Dr. Gregg Barden, both well-known family practice doctors, recently joined the physicians at Searcy Medical Center. Beginning Monday, June 22, Dr. Joseph and Dr. Barden started seeing patients at Searcy Medical Center, located at 2900 Hawkins Drive in Searcy.
“Dr. Joseph and Dr. Barden have provided excellent care in Searcy for many years, and we feel their joining our group is a very positive event for our clinic and the patients they have served for many years,” Dr. Clark Fincher, Chairman of Searcy Medical Center, said. “Searcy Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Joseph and Dr. Barden to our clinic as part of our family practice team.”
All medical records from Joseph Medical Clinic have been transferred to Searcy Medical Center to ensure continuity of care for all patients. Dr. Richard Duke’s patients are welcomed to select a new primary care physician. Searcy Medical Center invites his patients to select one of the nine family practice doctors at the clinic.
New Administrator
Mike Howell, CPA is the new administrator of the Searcy Medical Center. He graduated from Harding University with a degree in accounting in 1981. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Mike is a member of the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy, the American institute of Public Accountancy and the Medical Group Management Association.
Before coming to Searcy Medical Center, Mike was health care specialist with Rasco, Burris and Winter, CPA firm. He served as the Chief Financial Officer for Practice Plus for twelve years and was CFO for Radiology Associates for two years.
Mike is married to the former Ginny Daniel a teacher at Central Arkansas Christian School. Mike and Ginny have three children, Amy, Matt and Mandy. Mike has been an active member of the Levy church of Christ for 25 years.
